National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT, Taipei Tech; t=國立臺北科技大學) is a public university in Taipei, the Republic of China. It is a member of the Global Research & Industry Alliance (Gloria) of the Ministry of Science and Technology and accredited by AACSB. Located in the Daan district of Taipei, the school was established in 1912 as the School of Industrial Instruction, one of the earliest intermediate-higher educational institute in Taiwan. During the post-war industrialization and economic growth era, the university produced some of the most influential entrepreneurs, leaders, educators, and researchers in the fields of science and industry and is commonly referred to as "the cradle of entrepreneurship" (企業家的搖籃).
